Firmware Upgrade

To see what firmware version is used on your device and to upload the latest version, we have prepared an updater utility for both Mac and PC. A few points before downloading this utility:

  1. Upgrade has to be done via Firewire, either 1394a (9-6pin or 6-6pin cable) or 1394b (Firewire 800).
  2. Hard Drive does not have to be connected, bridge board and power supply only is sufficient and recommended for the firmware upgrade.
  3. If everything works as expected and your device is not affected by any of those issues mentioned above, we recommend not to change anything on the firmware, therefore preventing any problems which could be caused by an upgrade or void warranties.
  4. Do not turn off or disconnect your device during the firmware upgrade!
  5. Follow the installation instructions on the Readme file after you have downloaded the file below.

Panther Mac OS 10.3.4: [Panther Updater]
Jaguar Mac OS 10.2.8: [Jaguar Updater]
Win XP PC WinXP: [XP Updater]

Distributors and Vendors, please DO NOT link directly to the files from your website but point to this website instead, thank you!
